Youth on Monday staged a peaceful demonstration rejecting violence and war in the country.
Political Parties Youth Forum Chairperson Agel Ring Machar lamented that everyone has the means and rights to become a President.
He appreciated and welcomed the efforts of Inter-Governmental Authority on Development or IGAD to resolve the nation’s problems.
He said IGAD should not use the problems to cross into the sovereignty of a democratic nation.
SPLM Deputy Chairman Stephen Lemi advised the youths to protect the freedom through unity.
The officials spoke at Dr John Garang Mausoleum on Monday.
