Tonj South County in Warrap State on Saturday celebrated International Women Day.
One of the women told Don Bosco Radio on Saturday that day was to enlighten women of their rights and remind them the important role they play in the society.
She explained that women needed 85 percent because men were pushing them behind with 25 percent by not granting their rights.
Mary Michael stressed that women were capable of doing what men do in terms of responsibility and office duties.
Shel urged husbands to love their wives and celebrate their day at home in peace.
Apeth Machut said they needed balance office work for both men and women.
