Eastern Equatoria Minister for Gender, Culture and Social Development urged civil society groups to campaign and enlighten citizens on human rights.
Paska Oduho said some human rights abuses were committed due to ignorance, Emmanuel Radio reported.
She urged civil society groups and human rights activists to take a lead in sensitizing citizens on human rights to reduce violations in the State.
The Minister was talking in a forum between women and top government officials ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8.
