Heavy guns roar cause panic in Juba

Heavy artillery and machine guns roared after violence broke out at Juba military barrack on Wednesday morning causing people to panic.
 
Shops and markets were closed and people were running from one place to another.
 
There was increase of security personnel and soldiers were quickly carried around the city.
 
Government spokesperson Michael Makuei Lueth confirmed that the fighting broke out over an administrative pay issue but was contained.
 
There was no immediate confirmation of the number of casualties and CRN could not reach the army high command for comment.
