Western Bahr El Ghazal Public Service Minister planned to establish a data-based system to help check on civil servants’ double employment.
Monica Sabino Madut said they would screen out employees holding two positions in the same government through a unified system, Voice of Hope reported.
She said her Ministry set an electronic data-based to verify all employees in Western Bahr El Ghazal.
The Minister clarified that the machine would ensure that employees get their required payment per their grades.
Ms Sabino disclosed that the ongoing screening report found that some people with higher grade were getting less pay while those with lower grades get higher pay.
She stressed that the electronic data-based is expected to avoid errors.
Ms Sabino appealed to the national Ministry to include the state local staff in the training of technicians to handle the data-based system.
