Police spokesperson on Monday said the Inspector General was working hard to implement the national security plan by deploying new senior officers.

Colonel James Monday Enoka told CRN that Pieng Deng Kuol reinforced organized forces in Equatoria, Upper Nile and Bahr El Ghazal regions to provide effective security.

The Spokesperson said South Sudan Police Service was also working hard to create conducive environment to the people.

Colonel Monday urged IDPs at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS to return to their homes as security situation is normal and the government controls.

The Spokesperson clarified that the police forces were responsible for the internal security while the army controls areas of state of emergency including Jonglei, Upper Nile and Unity States.
