Wau Catholic Diocesan priest said peace could be only achieved through respect for human dignity.
Fr Santino Maurino Morokomomo while facilitating women workshop on peaceful co-existence in Wau, advised people to respect one another, Voice of Hope reported.
He said people should to advise one another to avoid misunderstanding and live as one family of God.
Fr Maurino clarified that equal provision of services to citizens at all levels without discrimination always results to peaceful coexistence.
He said lack of equal social services for all creates resentment and feelings of marginalization.
Fr Maurino called on the state and national governments to involve civil society organizations in the decision making rather than imposing orders on the community.
He said people should have courage to voice out their difficulties to find solutions.
