EE parliament forms committee to investigate Ngauro attacks

Eastern Equatoria Legislative Assembly formed a five-member committee to probe recent killings in Ngauro centre of Budi County.
 
The formation of the committee followed a presentation of findings by Charles Udwar, indicating killing of 15 people and wounding of eight others, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
The report presented on Wednesday said over 200 houses including shops were burnt down during Ngauro attacks.
 
Three legislators and a team formed by Governor Louis Lobong Lojore compiled the report to investigate the issue.
 
The committee include Joseph Lokodo, Charles Udwar, Angela Ajana Pio, Muras Chacha and Cyprian Lokaale 
 
The Committee was charged to verify the previous report and meet Didinga community to get their side on the attack.
 
The committee was given seven days to present its findings to the State Assembly.
