Yei River County Commissioner urged media outlets across the country to educate citizens through positive messages than spending too much time on music.
Juma David Augustine encouraged the media to hold leaders accountable in order to collectively build a country where there is accountability, justice and respect for humanity, Easter Radio reported.
The Commissioner described the Evangelical Presbyterian Church or EPC FM Radio as an important tool of transformation that fastens information to citizens.
He suggested that people should use their languages to spread messages of peace and reconciliation.
The Commissioner made the remarks while addressing a gathering during the launch of EPC FM Radio on Sunday in Yei.
