Mayoress alerts citizens on meningitis outbreak in Uganda

Yei Mayoress alerted citizens of the outbreak of meningitis that killed at least 40 in Northern Uganda.
 
Cecilia Oba Tito said the disease was confirmed in Arua, Marachar and Kobobo Districts, Easter Radio reported.
 
She said some cases were reported in Kajo-Keji County of Central Equatoria State.
 
The Mayoress advised people to rush to the hospital and health centres in case of any pain and symptoms.
 
She warned the public against disturbing their neighbours by putting high volumes of discos and video shows within residential areas.
 
Mayoress Oba advised citizens to avoid doing things over their strength.
 
She made the alert during the launch of Evangelical Presbyterian Church  Radio on Sunday.
