Hundreds pay last tribute to Eastern Equatoria Speaker

A large crowd of mourners including MPs, ministers, women, elders and children on Wednesday paid their last respect to Eastern Equatoria Speaker in Torit town.
 
Accompanying the casket of the late Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi from state Assembly to Our Lady of Assumption Church many mourners dressed in black attire, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
Presiding over the requiem mass Torit Apostolic Administrator Monsignor Thomas Oliha blessed the body of Ambrose Ocholimoi and prayed for him to in rest eternal peace.
 
The body of the late Ocholimoi was buried in Ilangi with three military gun salutes and the National Anthem.
 
Deputy speaker of the Council of State Remy Oler, Central Equatoria Speaker Naphtali Hassan Gale and Eastern Equatoria Governor Louis Lobong Lojore were among the mourners.
 
Eastern Equatoria state government declared three days of mourning with flags flying at half mask from Tuesday to Thursday.
