The late Eastern Equatoria Speaker was laid to rest at his home area of Ilangi on Wednesday to join his fellow liberation struggle heroes.
Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator Monsignor Thomas Oliha said the late Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi spent half of his time in the struggle to liberate South Sudan, Emmanuel Radio reported.
He named the late Ocholimoi among the heroes of the country.
Eastern Equatoria Governor Louis Lobong Lojore described the late speaker as transparent, committed SPLM party member and a nationalist.
The late speaker died on Tuesday morning of hypertension.
