The South Sudan Students’ League in Uganda strongly called for peaceful coexistence and reconciliation.

The League Deputy Chairperson Dut Samuel Deng called on the internally displaced persons or IDPs to return home and embrace peace, Bakhita Radio reported.

He regretted that people were running into bushed, spending sleepless nights and dying hungry.

Mr Samuel added that the students were concerned to negotiators in Addis Ababa peace talks to embrace peaceful dialogue instead of using guns.

The League Deputy Chairperson said students in Uganda live together since the incident started in the country.

He said in all the institutions of learning in Uganda there was no report of students fighting each other on tribal lines, but all treat themselves equally.

Mr Samuel said over 14 thousand South Sudan students are studying in Uganda at various institutes.
