South Sudanese Women Leaders for Peace urged the warring parties to recognize peace in the country.
Central Equatoria Labour and Public Service Minister Lilly Kapuki Paul Jurkin urged South Sudanese leaders to develop rather than destroy the young nation.
She said it was only through peaceful means that transformation and development can take deep roots in South Sudan.
Ms Kapuki said through women South Sudan could realize peace because women are the nation, mothers and sisters and have no tribes.
She added that when a woman was educated and peaceful, she would produce peaceful community and the country with united people.
Ms Kapuki called on President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his former vice Riek Machar to unite and develop South Sudan.
