Apostolic Administrator urges Christians to lead helping IDPs

Torit Apostolic Administrator urged Christians to take lead in offering assistance to the Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs in the state.
 
Monsignor Thomas Oliha urged Church leaders and Christians to collaborate with the Eastern Equatoria government.
 
He advised Christians to welcome the IDPs into their homes and not to disappoint them.
 
The Apostolic Administrator advised communities to offer land to the state government to accommodate the IDPs in order to reduce their suffering.
 
Eastern Equatoria Governor Louis Lobong Lojore last Wednesday appealed to communities to offer land to settle the IDPs.
