Torit Catholic Diocesan annual pastoral meeting started on Tuesday with a call to focus on the proclamation of Jesus Christ to the people.
Apostolic Administrator Monsignor Thomas Oliha in his opening remarks said the meeting should be geared to the pastoral orientation of the church, Emmanuel Radio reported.
Monsignor Oliha said proclamation of Jesus Christ to the people was the primary reason for the existence of the Church.
The Apostolic Administrator urged the participants to focus and reflect on peace to end the current crisis in the country.
The annual pastoral meeting drew together participants including parish priests, Sisters, Brothers and parishes’ representatives.
