Army recruitment kicks off in Eastern Equatoria

Eastern Equatoria Advisor on Security and Administrative Affairs said they started national army recruitment on Monday.
 
Felix Otuduha Siro told the press that the exercise aimed to defend the country’s territorial integrity and people’s their property, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
The Advisor said 500 youths already reported voluntarily to the recruitment base.
 
He thanked the youths for their quick move to defend their country.
 
Mr Otuduha disclosed a program to mobilize youths in Magwi, Torit, Ikwoto Counties, Imehejek and Lafon corridors.
 
 
The Advisor said five thousand people were required to distributed according to Counties.
 
 
Mr Otuduha said the recruitment was to fulfill equitable regional balance of the national army.
