Yei-Lasu road rehabilitation to kicks off in March

The rehabilitation of Yei-Lasu 45-kilometer road in Central Equatoria state will start with ground breaking on March 1.
 
Yei River County Commissioner Juma David Augustine told the press on Thursday that the rehabilitation will take 15 months: nine months calendar projects and six months supervisory period, Easter Radio reported.
 
He said 45-kilometer road starts in Yei up to the border with Democratic Republic of Congo.
 
Commissioner Juma said the national and state ministries of Roads and Bridges awarded the rehabilitation contract to Kirinyanga Company.
 
He said a sum of 11. 2 Million South Sudanese Pounds was allocated to finance the road.
 
The commissioner said Goks and Sons Company did not finish the rehabilitation due to financial constraints.
