Malakal Catholic Apostolic Administrator called on all Christians to be agents of reconciliation in the country.

Monsignor Roko Taban Musa in his homily on Sunday at St Theresa’s Cathedral Kator in Juba said if all South Sudanese take the heart of reconciling and embracing peace, the country would take a new direction, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said if South Sudanese have love for the nation, there would be no reason to create confusion in the country.

The Apostolic Administrator urged all South Sudanese to have the country in their hearts.

He told the faithful to translate the love they have for Jesus Christ and the neighbours into reality on the ground.

Monsignor Taban lamented that the ongoing conflict in South Sudan completely devastated Malakal diocese which administers Jonglei, Upper Nile and Unity States.
