The newly elected South Sudan parliamentarians are meeting today for the second time since they were sworn in on Thursday to revise and approve their internal regulations.
The MPs met for the first time on Friday at John Garang’s Mausoleum to witness Salva Kiir Mayardit’s inauguration as the first elected president of the Government of Southern Sudan.At the end of the inauguration and before closing the session, Speaker James Wani Igga told the parliamentarians that “The Conduct of Business/Regulations” was the main point for today’s agenda.
The Code regulates the behaviour and conduct of parliamentarians.
