Western Bahr Ghazal Acting Education Minister revealed a plan to construct new schools and rehabilitate the old ones.
Isaac Cleto Hassan while presenting policy statement of the ministry on Thursday said they would train teachers through capacity building programme, Voice of Hope reported.
He said their vision was to provide and support education for all in the state.
Dr Cleto cited major challenges facing education include lack of qualified teachers, learning materials and lack of education tax system.
The minister said they were planning for community mobilization and encouragement of participation in education.
The August House referred the statement to Education Committee for further scrutiny.
