SPLM Acting Secretary-General said the party would rise and run again despite of mounting mid December crisis obstacles.
Ann Itto Leonardo told the press on Wednesday that the party suspended its membership registration and the national convention until further notice.
She likened the recent SPLM members’ conflict to a fall of a walking baby and that it did not mean complete collapse of the party.
Dr Itto said the mid December crisis was challenge of national building that would be overcome.
She announced one month program to enlighten citizens on party values, political objectives and delivery of food and non food items to conflict victims.
Dr Itto said the program would clear speculations that the party was responsible for the crisis that claimed ten thousand lives and lost of property.
The Acting Secretary-General pointed out that SPLM vision and mission of building a democratic nation did not changed.
She said some individuals who did not live up to the party values were responsible for the mid December mess.
Dr Ann Itto said it was time to reflect on mistakes, correct them and commit to dialogue and reconciliation.
She hopes for a peaceful, prosperous, just, democratic, diverse and united country.
