Tonj South County Relief and Rehabilitation Commission Secretary in Warrap State said they will soon start distributing food for work to the community.
Gordon Makuer said the target group was people working on roads and agriculture, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He explained that the commodities were sorghum, beans, oil and other items for Greater Tonj five Payams and Bomas.
Mr Makuer added that the food for work was for a group of 500 to 600 people working on roads and 20 people working on agricultural scheme.
The County Secretary advised individual farmers and officials of Greater Tonj to allow vulnerable people to work to get the food.
He called on the entire Greater Tonj community to cooperate and work together to get food.
