Tonj Civil Hospital Public Health Director urged traders to renew their certificates.
 
Marko Sayid Dichol said all restaurants owners especially cooks, tea sellers and local brewers have to be tested to get certificates, Don Bosco Radio reported.
 
He said the aim of the test and health certificates was to prevent people with cough, syphilis, TB, and othger contagious diseases from cooking public food to avoid contamination.
 
Mr Sayidcalled on all traders to bring along their workers for test to get their certificates.
 
He said people who would be tested positive malaria or other diseases would be treated before resuming their work.
 
Tonj Civil Hospital Director Mathiang Angany said the hospital was lacking medicines.
 
He said last year common diseases were malaria, syphilis and pneumonia.
 
The Doctor urged Greater Tonj communities to go to the hospital for test and treatment whenever they are sick.
