Hundreds of Somalis left Juba for Mogadishu on Tuesday as fighting continues in some parts of the country.

One of them anonymously told CRN at Juba International Airport while standing in a long queue for the flight to Mogadishu that their government organized a flight for them to return home.

He maintained that they would return to South Sudan if the situation gets better.

The Somali said they were neither leaving under pressure nor even at will.

Most Somalis were carrying out businesses in Juba including water supply and selling of electronics.

The effect of foreigners’ evacuation from South Sudan remains to be seen in few days in future.
