Hungary Baptist doctors delegation on Monday visited South Sudan to deliver medical services to citizens.
The Acting Undersecretary in Health Ministry Richard Lino Loku said the delegation brought some medicines and medical personnel in solidarity with South Sudanese.
He said delegation expressed readiness to work with their colleagues at Juba Teaching Hospital.
Dr Lino said their visit was to assess the Hospital and see how they could assist with medicines and equipments.
He appreciated the support of the delegation and promised to work closely with the Hungary experts.
Hungary Ambassador to South Sudan Peter Kveck said it was their intention to assess the needs now and explore opportunities to continue supporting the country with medical supplies.
He said their first priority was to start working as quick as possible.
Health Minster Riek Gai Kok warmly received the delegation at Juba International Airport and appreciated their support.
