Vice President hails Eastern Equatoria for peace maintenance

The Vice President of the Republic praised citizens of Eastern Equatoria for maintaining peace after violence outbreak in Juba and other parts of the country in December 2013.
 
James Wani Igga urged citizens not to involve in violence but continue with the spirit of togetherness, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
The Vice President told the public in a rally on Thursday at Torit Freedom Square that individual’s interests to contest for presidency in 2015 elections was the cause of conflict.
 
He said there was no possibility of releasing political detainees even on the demand of the International community.
