At least 23 wounded SPLA soldiers were responding to treatment at Grinti Military Hospital in Wau of Western Bahr El Ghazal state.
Wau Military Hospital Medical Director Major Marial Cuil told journalists that the soldiers were injured in the battle of Mayom in Unity state, Voice of Hope reported.
He said the soldiers gained strength after three days of medication.
Major Cuil refuted social media reports that soldiers were discriminated against on tribal basis during the treatment in Military barracks.
He said there was equal treatment for all soldiers.
Division Five Political Orientation Director Major Mangong Anyijong said there was no defection and all forces were committed to secure the nation.
He denounced rumours of tribal fight reported by media outlets.
