Western Equatoria Governor called on state citizens to be calm and stay in peace.
Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro said they will not tolerate any anyone creating insecurity in the state, Anisa Radio reported.
The Governor condemned SPLA soldiers who defected to join the rebels loyal to Riek Machar on Saturday in Greater Mundiri.
He lamented that children and women died during the crossfire in Mundiri but the number of causalities was not yet established.
Governor Bakosoro said everyone has to contribute to peace initiative in South Sudan.
