At least 2,660 Primary Leaving Certificate candidates of Western Bahr El Ghazal state on Thursday started exams in 29 centers.
State Acting Education minister Isaac Cleto Hassan rang the first bell of the exams at Wau A boys’ Basic school, Voice of Hope reported.
He appreciated all teachers for their great concern in preparing the pupils to sit the exams.
Dr Cleto advised the candidates to follow instructions and relax while answering questions in order to succeed.
Education Director General Abdulla Ali Abdulla said there are seven centres in Wau, nine in Raja and 13 in Jur River Counties.
