Poverty of family life perpetrated by parents destroyed South Sudan.
This was the view of the Torit Catholic Emeritus Bishop Paride Taban during his homily at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei on Sunday, Easter Radio reported.
He said most children cannot call their parents by their real names but only use the word mama and baba.
Bishop Taban pointed out that parents were busy drinking and playing politics without realizing pains their children bear.
He said parents forgot their children due to politics and drinking.
The Bishop said a hen that can protect its chicks from predators was better than people busy drinking and forgetting their children.
