Centre for International Media Ethics in South Sudan or CIME Ambassador called for peace and unity in the country.
Bongiri Peter Lodu in a statement called on all South Sudanese to strongly cement peace in their hearts to realize strong unity.
He urged the security organs to protect and respect journalists, stop beatings, obituary arrest, observe human rights and respect the rights of all citizens.
CIME Ambassador urged media practitioners to be truthful, responsible and objective in reporting and avoid inciting violence.
Mr Bongiri strongly condemned the use of distinctive words and mentioning of some tribes by media.
