Sudan People’s Liberation Movement or SPLM on Friday donated food items to conflict victims at Juba Teaching Hospital.

SPLM Secretary for Social Welfare Norah Zangabeyo said they gave 20 bags of maize, 20 bags of sugar, one carton of oil and one carton of soap.

She said they stand for peace and against violence in the country.

Ms Zangabeyo lamented that they were concern, worried and shocked by the current situation.

She condemned tribalism and called on all leaders to refrain from all kinds of violence.

Ms Zangabeyo clarified that the recent SPLM conflict was not tribal, but political.

She called on UN peacekeepers to intervene.

Juba Teaching Hospital Deputy Director Paula Arubiyo described the donation as a great support to patients.

She said some patients with minor injuries were discharged while those with major injuries were recovering.
