The Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSSS Archbishop called on all Christians to defend South Sudan by prayers.
Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul in his homily at All Saints Cathedral on Christmas Day in Juba said if Christians humble themselves and pray, God will hear their prayers and restore peace in the country, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said South Sudan’s leaders should be confident in themselves to lead the country.
Hundreds of Christians gathered at All Saints Cathedral in Juba to celebrate the Christmas.
