Pain should not block the joy of celebrating Christmas despite of the insecurity in the country.
This was the massage of Yei Catholic Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe to Christians on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral, Easter Radio reported.
He said joys and sorrows of the world move together.
Bishop Lodu added that mixture of joys and sorrows should not prevent people from celebrating a Christmas happily.
He lamented that it was unfortunate that if there is a mixture of joy, sorrow and pain, mostly pain shadow joy.
Bishop Lodu told people that faith in God with the coming of the Emmanuel would overcome the political crisis ongoing in the country.
He insisted that joy should overcome the pain though there were lost of lives, displacement of people and many going hungry in Juba and other towns.
Bishop Lodu pointed out that what happened in the country affect all people.
