The Catholic Diocese of Torit started yesterday a three-day strategic planning workshop.
The event draws participants from various heads of social departments of the diocese across Eastern Equatoria State, Emmanuel Radio reported.Torit Diocese Acting Programme Manager, Fr. Amayo Paul, said during the opening of the workshop that much effort was made to prepare the meeting.
Fr. Amyo added that specialists gathered information from the parishes in order to make a new plan.
The workshop is facilitated by Netherlands Development Organization (SNV).
SNV Portfolio Coordinator, Mr. Apuoyoi Collins, explained that the Strategic Planning identifies objectives and develops means to achieve them over a timeframe.
