Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop on Wednesday celebrated Christmas with small children in Yambio.
Eduardo Hiiboro Kusalla said he was honoured to preside over the Eucharistic celebration with the young and future leaders of South Sudan, Anisa Radio reported.
In his homily the bishop asked all children to be happy because Christmas is their feast.
He advised children to pray for peace in the world youngest country.
Bishop Hiiboro described the small children very important people who would be governors, bishops, ministers among others in the future.
He commissioned all children to be the ambassadors of peace in every home to their friends and parents by telling people that Christ humbled himself to come on earth as a child in uncomfortable conditions.
The Bishop advised children to bear the situation with their parents in case they are not bought new clothes and good food.
