St Mark’s Centre head Acolyte Matthew Mohammed said they celebrate their Christmas every December 15, Voice of Hope reported.

He revealed that this year they managed to help 450 poor men and women by giving them food and none food items.

Mr Matthew acknowledged the support of DORCAS International, Comboni and Salesians Congregations.

He appealed to all charitable people to celebrate Christmas with poor people by doing them some charitable deeds.

In his homily Fr Peter Bernard urged people not to divide themselves during the Christmas season.

Fr Bernared said Christmas is the time for joy and Christ was born for the poor.

The Christmas celebration drew together poor people from different parishes of Wau including Agok leprosy centre.
