Eastern Equatoria State AIDS Commission Director called on citizens to continue fighting the killer disease in the state.
Augustine Okwahi said the fight against HIV should not end on the World AIDS Day but continue without a stopover, Emmanuel Radio reported.
He called on citizens to disseminate HIV AIDS information to enable the state attain zero infection rates.
Dr Okwahi said Nimule residents turned up in a large number to host the occasion for the first time.
The Commission Director made the statement on Wednesday during the evaluation of Nimule celebration of World AIDS Day.
