European Union Aviation Security Mission or EUAVSEC on Tuesday donated seven vehicles to South Sudan to strengthen security at Juba International Airport.
The Mission said the vehicles would be handed over to Juba International Airport Aviation Security Unit and Diplomatic Protection Unit of the South Sudanese National Police Service on Thursday at a ceremony.
The Mission assists the government of South Sudan to raise the security at Juba International Airport to the internationally accepted standards.
The Mission earlier trained more than 700 South Sudanese airport staff to improve the aviation security.
