Equity Bank Yambio branch on Monday donated food items to the Children Ward at State Hospital and St Bakhita Children Home of Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese.
Yambio Branch Director Bernard Munanu said they distributed sugar, rice, maize flour, mosquito nets, blankets, juice and sweets, Anisa Radio reported.
He explained that it was an initiative from the Bank to pay back to the society because since it was opened in Yambio last year, the community gave a lot of support.
Mr Munanu added that Equity Bank Yambio branch hopes to continue donating every year.
He appreciated Yambio community support towards the progress of the Bank.
