Minister encourages fine arts, music

Western Bahr El Ghazal Information Minister encouraged youths to participate in fine arts and music to contribute in the development of the country.
 
Derrick Alfred Uya told the gathering during Amous Cultural Group second anniversary celebration that music and fine arts were the pillars of reconciliation, unity and development, Voice of Hope reported.
 
He expressed commitment to support fine arts work in order to fight evil acts in the society.
 
The minister revealed plans to hold Christmas festive for local actors and musicians to entertain the public.
 
Wau Music Centre Director Addison Arkangelo Musa called on the youths to show local cultures through music, drama and fine arts.
 
Mr Arkangelo described the work of Amous Cultural Group to be truly South Sudanese.
