Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration or DDR Commission trained Lakes State officials on devising modalities for supporting ex-combatants.
State DDR Acting Director Chawuoch Nhial Alit told Good News Radio on Monday that they were supporting ex-combatants through vocational training.
He called on the line ministries to take a leading role in supporting ex-combatants by employing them to realize decent life in the society.
Mr Nhial called on state ministries to employ ex-combatants who were equipped with professional skills in Mapel Training Centre.
He urged the state government to socially support ex-combatants through counselling.
The two-day training workshop ends on Tuesday.
