United States Ambassador to South Sudan urged the government to allow media outlets to report corruption cases.
Suzan Page on Monday said South Sudan government’s determination to fight corruption with transparency was very slow.
Ambassador Page urged the government to follow up corruption complaints to establish truth and hold corrupt officials accountable.
She said ending corruption takes concrete steps from all levels of the society.
The US diplomat called for joint efforts to fight corruption.
The Us Ambassador made the statement during the Global Anti-Corruption Day celebration in Juba under the theme: ‘Zero corruption for transparent and accountable service delivery.’
