An official working for Capacity Building Trust urged South Sudan to improve on transparency to better its image on corruption.
John Heck told Radio Emmanuel in Torit that transparency attract foreign investors into the country.
Mr Heck suggested empowering South Sudan Anti-Corruption Commission to provide adequate information to Transparency International for a better rating in the future.
He said South Sudan Anti-Corruption Commission needs funding and laws to tackle corruption cases.
The official attributed rating South Sudan as the fourth corrupt country to its being young country and its weak institution to fight corruption.
South Sudan joined the Globe on Monday to mark Global Anti-Corruption Day.
