National Anti-Corruption Commission trains EE officials

South Sudan Anti-Corruption Commission on Friday organized a one-day training for government officials in Torit, Eastern Equatoria State. 
 
The training covered Anti-corruption audit system, general understanding of its concept and self-assessment, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
State Anti-Corruption Commission Director Jeremiah Ater Kucjok said the training was a start of a major anti-corruption campaign in the Country.
 
The Director disclosed that the Commission targeted civil society organizations and 1,800 government employees in the state.
 
National Anti-Corruption Commission Executive Director Kuyok Abol Kuyok said the training aimed to sensitize civil servants to combat corruption.
 
The training facilitator, John Heck, appreciated national government efforts to combat corruption.
 
He called for political will and implementation of corruption fighting policies.
