Central Equatoria State Deputy Governor called on citizens in the country not to discriminate HIV Aids affected persons, but love them instead.
Manase Lomole Waya said there should be zero tolerance for discrimination against those living with the virus, Bakhita Radio reported.
He added that anybody could fall victim of the pandemic, appealing for love, hope and encouragement to victims.
Mr Lomole called on married couples to graze within the house and not outside the fence to avoid the contraction of the virus.
He called on husbands to love and remain faithful to their wives despite of fading beauty due to age.
Mr Lomole urged wives to love their husbands and stick to their love.
The Deputy Governor made the calls while addressing a gathering for the commemoration of World Aids Day in Juba under the theme ‘Say no to HIV stigma and discrimination’ on Monday.
