Tonj South County opened two new police stations in Aguka and Manyangok areas on Friday.
Tonj South Acting Commissioner of Police William Deng Wol told Don Bosco Radio that Aguka and Manyangok got their police stations because of their high population.
He said the decision implemented the new South Sudan government security policy.
The Acting Commissioner of Police urged residents of the areas to cooperate with police as they are their friends, not enemies.
Mr Deng said the posts in Aguka and Manyangok are equipped with necessary facilities to be used by the police including radios.
