Members of the ruling party attended a follow-up three-day training on negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
SPLM Information Secretary Bol Makueng led the team to Ethiopia.
He told journalists at Juba International Airport that the team was fully equipped with negotiation, mediation, peace building and conflict resolution skills for application in the country and beyond.
He commended ACCORD for sponsoring the training.
Mr Makueng said that the skills acquired would be applied to solve internal conflicts, and post independence negotiations with Sudan including the Abyei Protocol for determining its final status.
The training in its third session aimed to evaluate the performance of participants.
The SPLM Information Secretary said the participants scored achievements in application of the skills to improve relations with Sudan and grant amnesty to rebel groups.
