The Vice President of the Republic on Tuesday told state governors to copy a national policy on signing contracts to evaluate annual performance for reward or punishment of ministers and other civil servants.

James Wani Igga said the new move would improve performance of ministers and general staff of government.

The Vice President pointed out that there was need for transformation to deliver services and prosper the nation.

Mr Igga added he was subject to supervision by the president and that the president was supervised by electorates and God Almighty.

The Vice President observed that the move would expose lazy officials for dismissal and hard workers for promotion.
